Ritual of Sakura

Just a few weeks ago I received an awesome package from Tryazon with some amazing products to test from Rituals Cosmetics. Rituals is "a unique luxury lifestyle brand focused on ancient eastern traditions for body and home". In September, Rituals launched on Sephora.com and is now available for purchase online! The Rituals brand celebrates traditions and rituals with products that smell incredible and feel luxurious.

As part of the Tryabox, I received three products, a foaming shower gel, a daily body scrub, and a body cream. The specific line I received in this Tryabox was the Ritual of Sakura line, celebrating the Japanese tradition of honoring Cherry Blossom Trees. I absolutely love all the packaging of Rituals products because they are always very elegant and themed. After using all three for a few weeks already, I have written a quick review on each one:

Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Body Cream - I am not usually a fan of lotions, mostly because I tend to feel very oily after use, but that has not been the case for this boy cream. The cream is very thick, and soft, and a little spreads a long way. It leaves your skin soft but not oily or greasy. The amount of cream in the tub makes it a good value for the cost. It is highly scented, smells incredible, but not overwhelming. I love the packaging of this cream, the faux wood top is beautiful and makes it a product you want to show off!

Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Body Scrub - This sugar scrub not only has a wonderful smell but it is incredibly soft and gentle. It gives a nice scrub, and definitely exfoliates, but it is still gentle and not harsh on your skin. The cherry blossom scent is so yummy but not so much that it overwhelms. The packaging is beautiful and a good size to leave in a shower. Definitely would recommend !

Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Foaming Shower Gel - Love having a foaming body wash. This product smells super great and cleans very well. With just a little bit of the gel, you can create a lot of soapy foam and it goes a long way. Which means for the cost, this is an excellent value. I loved the smell and how quickly you create a good lather. The only thing I would like don't differently was the packaging because the top was kind of hard to squeeze. It was a nice compact bottle but the top needed a lot of pressure and in the right spot in order to push down and release the soap. That is the only reason I took off one star, besides that I really like it and would recommend!

So to summarize, I love not only the beautiful packaging of these Ritual products, but the actual products are awesome and smell so incredibly good! & Again, if you haven't signed up for Tryazon I can't recommend them enough.

If you are new to my page and have not heard of Tryazon before... here's the deal: it is one of the best sampling communities there is, where you get to apply for Parties and receive completely free products to review and share with friends and family. I have hosted several of these parties and I have come to find some of my favorite products through it (Examples: Organic India Tea - a.k.a. best tea ever & Silk'n Infinity - an affordable laser hair removal device that you can use at home!).
