Silk’n Titan (At-Home Anti Aging Treatment)

The host opportunity I was selected for this time was the Silk’n Titan Anti-Aging At Home Treatment Device. If you have been following me for a little while now, or read a few of my previous blog posts, you may remember that I recently did another party with this same brand, Silk'n. These professional scientists and engineers brought the same technologies used in medical offices to the comfort of their customer's homes, with the same professional results. I think it makes me feel much safer knowing this company is the same company that provides the machines and technology to professional offices, and that their at home devices are FDA cleared!

The Titan Anti-Aging device that I received for this host opportunity is a device that tightens and lifts sagging skin, reverses the effects of aging, repairs damage, and smooths the look of fine lines and wrinkles. How exactly does it do that? IT combines three light energies, • Infrared Heat (IR) • Light-Emitting Diodes (LED) • Bi-Polar Radio Frequency (RF), that when combined give your skin a treatment of "harmonized" energies that stimulates natural cell renewal.

But, How?

If you are like me, that still really didn't make it super clear what these lights are and how they help treat the problem areas on your face. But no fear, Silk'n provided me with additional details to help explain the HOW:

"How does it work? The Silk’n Titan is for women and men of all skin types, addressing all signs of aging. 

Infrared Heat (IR) works on skins’ surface, improving texture, pore size, reduces superficial sun and age spots, dark circles and makes skin smooth and glow. 

Light-Emitting Diodes (LED) reaches the dermis layer, rejuvenating skin and restores collagen. It stimulates cell renewal and fibroblast production, reducing wrinkles, improving skin’s appearance, such as; crow’s feet; fine lines and frown lines. 

Bi-Polar Radio Frequency (RF) reaches deep layers of the skin, tightens loose skin and promotes new collagen and elastin, responding to sagging/loss of firmness, sagging jowls/neck, vertical lip lines/marionette lines, nasolabial folds, wrinkles, hooded eyes and pebbled chin."

Lots of science words, I know, but basically it causes reactions way deep within our skin that cause the natural process of skin cell renewal and production of collagen & elastin to continue and work like they should.

So how do you use this product?  So simple! 

1. Remove all jewelry. 
2. Press the start button to turn on the device. The level 1 energy level indicator light will go on. 
3. For your first treatment, start at energy level 1 for a few minutes, then set an energy level that is comfortable for the area you wish to treat. For future treatments, you can use an energy level that is comfortable, with the goal to reach the highest level to achieve best results. 
4. Next, spread a thin layer of Silk'n Slider Gel over the treatment area. (TIP: Instead, you may apply a small nickle size dab, directly onto the treatment head.) 
The Slider Gel must be used for conductivity and serves several therapeutic purposes. It allows the RF energy to penetrate to the deeper layers of the skin, helps to facilitate a smooth glide over the skin and moisturizes the skin with its hyaluronic ingredient. Always apply Slider Gel (or another clear, water-based gel) before you put the device on your skin.
5. Press the treatment surface firmly against your skin. You will feel a mild sensation of warmth. It’s essential to move the device in gentle, massage-like linear motions on the area you wish to treat, to maintain the production of heat. By doing this, the temperature on your skin remains constant. 
Progress slowly and carefully. Following the recommended order in the user guide, work each treatment area for 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure the treatment surface is in good contact with your skin. 
6. Immediately after the treatment, wash your face to remove any gel, then apply facial lotion or a mask

a) Forehead (including in between brows) 
b) Right Cheek (including around eyes) 
c) Left Cheek (including around the eyes) 
d) Right Lower Cheek (including nasolabial fold/laugh lines around the mouth, jawline) 
e) Left Lower Cheek (including nasolabial fold and jawline) 
f) Neck and Décolleté area – Treat here for smoothing 

Tryazon Party

I was able to host a virtual Zoom party with 5 of my friends and family members to explain this product and demonstrate to them how it works. Although I had wanted to show them results on my own face as well as my moms, we did not do a great job at consistently treating in the two weeks prior to the party. However, that does not mean I won't update the results once I get them! I don't ever want to promote a product that I really have note seen work, so this is still in a testing phase for me and I cannot wait to see results. I will be updating this blog post with those results, hopefully within the next month.
